Sanatorio Carlos Durán, Cartago, Costa Rica

These pictures were sent to us by famous costa rican photograher George Rouppolo. They were shot at Sanatorio Carlos Durán in Prusia, Cartago, a former tubercolosis sanatorium built in 1915 and shut down in 1963. Every teenage goth band has to go here and take gloomy band pictures, and stoners go here to be scared of ghosts.

According to the photographer, the toilets were on the ground so that the patients could simply drag their unhealthy bodies there instead of walking. However, looking at the pictures, the WC appears to be of the french type, with a ruffled surface much more suited for placing one's feet than one's behind.

George Rouppolo's art can be enjoyed at http://www.grouppolo.tk/

Punta del Diablo, Uruguay

A stunning picture from one of the most beautiful places in South America.

The IWCRP staff wish to send our most grovelling thanks to our freelance photographer Inga. We do not know the name of the establishment where the picture was taken, but we are sure it's worth a visit. As always, we give $ 10.000 to whoever can give us the name of the place.

Gausdalsstraßen

This beauty appears to be part of the natural habitat of most Swindon Town fans in Lillehammer, Norway. The picture is stolen from the Facebook group Drit og Dra. It is a stunningly aesthetic piece of WC.

Banheiro!

A recently founded chapter of IWCRP in Brazil is working 24/7 these days, sometimes even more. The first contribution from this tropical paradise with coffee and fruits galore to speed things up, is from Campinas. Brazil was first described as o país dos banheiros by a portuguese traveller in the 19th century, an expression frequently in use by proud brazilians and almost every tourist brochure today.

Since IWCRP does not yet have an office in Salta, we hired two proffesional photographers to go there and do some research for us. After flying them in from Norway, we sent them on a two weeks long job. IWCRP hereby bring you the entire catalogue of pictures they brought back to us.
